Lube Mobile Hygiene Practices When Servicing Customers Vehicles

There is evidence that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads from person to person, some reports suggest the virus can last for several days on surfaces including plastics found in vehicles.

Good hygiene can prevent infection from coronavirus as well as the common cold and flu.

With this in mind we wish to share with you what practices Lube Mobile have put in place to ensure the safety of our Customers and of our staff.

Prior to working inside a vehicle, the Lube Mobile technician will use the following procedure;

  1. The technician will check with you whether you have been overseas and ordered to comply with a self-isolation order.

  2. Disinfect car.

  3. Disinfect hands.

  4. Where possible avoid switching on HAVAC system (air conditioning / heater control).

Disinfect Car

  1. Disinfect outside door handle prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. Spray or wipe all relevant areas inside the vehicle.

  3. Allow disinfectant to sit for up to 10mins to dry by airing out the vehicle.

  4. Conduct works inside the vehicle.

  5. When the work is finished we will give the vehicle a final spray or wipe prior to returning the vehicle to you (including outside door handle).

Parts of the Vehicle to be Disinfected

  1. Door handle (outside first then inside).

  2. Steering wheel.

  3. Radio and other control buttons and indicators.

  4. Seat belt.

  5. Any other areas we may need to touch when working inside the vehicle (i.e. glove box handles, drink holders, dashboard, hand brake and gears etc.)

Disinfect Hands

  1. We will use hand sanitiser or washing of hands prior to entering the vehicle.

  2. After completing the work we will Sanitise our hands thoroughly and close the door to the vehicle.

Payment and Invoicing

  1. No Cash payments. Our strong preference is payment by card via the tap and go facility.

  2. Printing of invoices and quotes will cease and we will instead email them to you.

Should you have any queries regarding our Coronavirus (Covid-19) procedures, or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting us on 13 30 32.

Alfa Romeo Service

  • Fully Qualified Mechanics
  • -
  • 12 Months Nationwide Warranty
  • -
  • Only Quality Parts and Oils Used

An Alfa Romeo service can be completed by Lube Mobile. Our team of mobile mechanics can visit you and take care of your vehicle wherever it is located. All car services and most car repairs can be completed on site. For some larger repairs, we can arrange to have your car transported to one of our many workshops, this is required when we need access to a car lift for safety purposes.

As we are on the road and our service workshops are transportable you can always consider Lube Mobile as the mechanical team that is always ‘near me’. You can find us operating in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and many other locations all over Australia. All work completed by us is covered under armour parts and labour warranty, and as we’re not a franchised group, it doesn’t matter if you got your car serviced on the other side of the country from where you live.

The convenience of having a mechanic that comes to you is often better value than your standard Alfa Romeo capped price servicing. Especially when you consider the costs involved with getting your car into the dealership for the service. Have you ever taken a day off work just to get your car serviced? You won’t need to do that when you call Lube Mobile!

At Lube Mobile we don’t specialise in any make or models which allows us to offer multiple car discounts. If your Alfa Romeo shares a garage with a Toyota, Ford, Citroen, Mazda, Jaguar, Hyundai, or a Holden, we can get that service completed at the same time and you save on your service bills! You can book directly through our website at any time, or call us on 13 30 32.

What is included in Alfa Romeo service?

The inclusions for your Alfa Romeo service all depend on where the car is in its lifetime. For newer vehicles that are still under warranty, we’ll need to follow the guide as set out in your logbooks. The most common place a logbook is stored is in the vehicle’s glovebox. If you flick through the book and check for the first page this has not been signed, it will list everything that needs to be attended to. For your warranty to remain valid these items need to be completed and all parts and lubricants used must follow the guidelines required by Alfa Romeo.

If your Alfa Romeo has passed the warranty period, we can complete a standard annual service (or a major service every three & six years). All our services cover these items:

  1. Changing the engine oils and filters

  2. Under bonnet check and fluids top up

  3. A safety inspection, including the braking systems

  4. Inspection of the charging and cooling systems

If you notice anything wrong with your Alfa Romeo, mentioning it at the time of booking will give us a good idea of what other issues may be wrong and we’ll check over those as well.

How much does Alfa Romeo service cost?

All our costs are available through our website when you book in for your Alfa Romeo service. By being upfront about our charges, you can compare us to your Alfa Romeo fixed price servicing and see which gives you better value.

Many people feel that they're getting the best value from their Alfa Romeo dealership service. But when you factor in the costs involved with getting your car to the dealer and then yourself back home or to work what you actually pay for the service increases. With Lube Mobile, we’ll come to you and complete the service wherever the car is parked, which means you’ll save on those transportation costs.

How long does Alfa Romeo service take?

An Alfa Romeo service through Lube Mobile will take around two hours to complete. This will give us enough time to perform the service and give your vehicle a thorough check over the safety and cooling systems. If we find any issues that are not covered under your service, we’ll contact you and offer you a cost estimate and time frame to complete. In most cases, we can complete any repairs at the same time as your service, if not we can schedule you for another day and time.

Another benefit of having your Alfa Romeo service completed with Lube Mobile is that you’ll get the car back as soon as we’re finished. This is perfect if you have errands or other things to do where you need your car!

How to get Alfa Romeo service history?

If your Alfa Romeo service was completed by Lube Mobile you can contact us and we can send you a copy of your service history. All our services are kept on file to make sure that we’re supporting our customers and maintaining our warranty on parts and labour.

If you have taken your car to different mechanics, you can look through your logbooks as the services should have been signed off by whoever completed them. For an old Alfa Romeo that does not have a logbook you can look for the service sticker, these are usually located on the inside of the windscreen. The sticker will have a date for when the next service is due. You can try calling the number on the sticker and see if they have the vehicle service history.

If you can’t find any information, booking in for a service with Lube Mobile is recommended. We’ll inspect the car and start you off with a high-quality service. Generally, cars are responsive to service, and moving forward you can give it the best care possible.
